Yes. You do not need a credit card to reserve — booking online costs nothing and no card is charged. When you collect the car you can settle the rental in cash (euros or Tunisian dinar) or by card. The only place a card helps is the refundable security deposit: some categories can be held on a debit card or in cash, but a credit card is the simplest way to place the hold. If you are travelling without any card at all, message us on WhatsApp before you fly and we will arrange a cash deposit option for your car category so there are no surprises at the airport.

They are two completely different things and it matters. Prepayment means paying the rental cost in advance online — we never ask for this. The deposit (or security hold) is a refundable amount held against damage or fuel while you have the car; it is taken at pickup, not before, and returned in full when you bring the car back in the same condition. So "no prepayment" is true, but "no deposit" would not be — every serious rental company in Tunisia holds a deposit. At pickup we accept Visa and Mastercard for both the rental payment and the refundable deposit, and we also accept cash in euros or Tunisian dinar for the rental itself. There is no card surcharge. If you prefer to pay the rental in cash and only use a card for the deposit hold, that is fine — just tell the agent when you collect the car. For the deposit specifically, a credit card gives the smoothest hold-and-release; debit cards work for smaller categories. Because you paid nothing online, cancelling is simple and free up to 24 hours before your pickup time — there is no charge and no card to refund, since none was taken. Aggregators add their own booking margin and payment-processing fees on top of the local rate, and their "pay now" discounts are often offset by mandatory extras added at the counter.
